Originally split into bed and breakfast accommodation the challenge for Architects Brazil & Associates was to produce a design for each structure to reflect the luxury associated with the location. The project brief from the client was to leave no stone unturned in each structure and use only the finest quality products to create properties of a calibre which would be unrivalled in Dublin’s exclusive property rental market.

Both properties were stripped back to bare fabric to allow the insertion of structural improvements which would support the upgrading of every aspect of the houses to modern luxurious standards. Traditional sash windows were upgraded to modern standards, insulation was installed throughout and full mechanical and electrical systems including underfloor heating beneath stone tiled floors and hand-finished oak floors were installed. Desired levels of comfort are now achieved from the new highly efficient air to water heat pumps. Handcrafted kitchens by O'Connors of Drumleck set in zinc roofed extensions surrounded by Carlson windows provide a relaxing family environment only minutes from the city in the heart of Dublin’s embassy belt. Already having become home to some of the worlds top CEO’ and professionals the properties are sure to be Ireland’s most desirable rental properties for years to come.
