Whelan & O’Keeffe Construction Ltd is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.  This Privacy Statement tells you about your privacy rights and sets out how we, as a Data Controller for the purposes of GDPR and Data Protection legislation purposes, collect and process personal data provided to us in connection with the provision of our services.

Information that we collect

“Personal data” means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified.  There are instances where we invite or request individuals to provide us with their personal data or personal data may be provided to us by various means of communication, e.g. by telephone, email or via our website. In providing our services, we may also receive personal data indirectly. This personal data includes name, addresses, contact information and any other personal data provided to us.

The personal data we hold and where it comes from will depend on the type of interaction you have with us as a customer, supplier, sub-contractor, service provider etc.

• Third parties who provide a service to us includes Architects, QS, Designers, suppliers, sub-contractors & various other third parties that engage with us for valuable technical expertise.
• A public authority/local council, in the event that we are required to do so by law.
• A third party where we are under a legal obligation to transfer it to that third party.
• A prospective seller or buyer of any of our assets or business.
• A third party where it is necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Commissioner if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR.
