What started as a rundown cottage of 2200 sq ft was transformed by Whelan & O’Keeffe into a stunning 5500 sq ft modern home.

The unassuming cottage to the front was restored to retain its old world charm while the large two storey new extension blends seamlessly into its surroundings, opening the house floor plan into an expansive modern living space full of life’s creature comforts.

Automatic kitchen drawers, instant hot water taps, carbonated water tap, underfloor heating and specially sourced crittal metal doors all add to enhance the comforts of the house.

The project was completed in March 2015 to include a rear mews building, both on budget and on programme.
